Enjoy The Wait.

It's been 6 days since our last doctors appointment when we were told the baby will be coming any day. That makes 6 days of waking up wondering "Is this the day?" 6 days of phone calls from Michelle that don't result in me racing to the hospital. 6 days of Michelle growing increasingly ready to have this baby. 6 days of us focusing on what may happen rather than what is happening.

During some prayer time this morning I really felt that God was saying, "Enjoy the wait." Like I was being challenged to take advantage of these last few days with Michelle and focus on making the wait more about us than the baby. I think if we focus on what is coming rather than the moment we're in, we can go crazy with anticipation and miss out on things happening around us. The "wait" is all about trusting God's timing and having faith that things will happen when they are meant to... and not a moment before.

So 6 days can turn into 7 that turns into 8 and, before you know it, Crew is here and our lives are forever changed for the better. But we're going to do our best to enjoy the wait.
