Baby Update & Total Idiot

Our last ultrasound (December) concerned our doctor and she called us in for some tests. Of course hearing this sent both of us into a panic. "Is the baby OK?", "Is she gonna tell us we're having twins?", "Are we having the baby today?!?" We went to the hospital Friday afternoon and Michelle got strapped up with wires and tubes. We sat in a room and watched some awful daytime TV as a the nurse monitored Michelle and the baby. Turns out that Michelle has started having contractions and needs to take a Rx to stop them. The baby is doing great and responded to Michelle's contractions just as he should.
We have another appointment tomorrow where we will repeat the stress test and have an immediate follow up with our doctor. We have no idea whether this changes the delivery date or not but have been told to expect the baby early...which prompted us to get cracking on the nursery.
We are glad to have such a great doctor who assures us that God is in control of every moment and His plan for our little boy will unfold perfectly.

Another note, I asked for an external hard drive for Christmas so I could backup my music and photos. On December 20 my hard drive crashed and Apple told me that I probably lost all my info. Music, photos, everything... and just 5 days before I was to get an external hard drive for Christmas. When i got it back, it was all gone. The only stuff I had was from a backup I had done in June on the server at work. So basically I lost everything since June...including our pictures of our Europe trip and all the photos of Michelle pregnant.
When I told Michelle, she said to just download them from the camera again. That would have been great if I wasn't a total idiot and erased them all to make room for Grandma Billee's 90th birthday pics. I was in the doghouse big time!
Well last week I discovered a program on the Apple website. It is called CardRaider and is designed to retrieve deleted pictures off memory cards. I downloaded the trail version and plugged in my computer...almost instantly, a window opened up and started to fill with pictures of Paris and Rome! I recovered over 500 pictures that my camera said were no longer there. The software cost $19 and I highly recommend it for anyone who is, or is married to, a total idiot.
I have since backed up all important files on an external hard drive...another useful tool for idiots.
